Arriving in the United States in 1967 Mr. Giuseppe Martuscelli began working in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as a cook. Over the next several years a common vision began to grow of one day opening his restaurant. He and his wife Anna eventually came to Delaware and opened La Casa Pasta Restaurant in Newark Delaware in 1978. Over the years Giuseppe and Anna devoted their lives to this location with a lifestyle of seven-day workweeks; fine-tuning culinary skills and providing customers with what they wanted. The business recently celebrated its 40th year opening.

La Casa Pasta and the Restaurant Group continue to be owned and operated by the Martuscelli family, with Gianmarco and Gilda, their son and daughter-in-law, taking on more responsibilities in managing the businesses. They ensure that all of their properties stay up-to-date with industry trends through the implementation of innovative marketing and management strategies for their staff. However, their primary emphasis remains on their solid and prosperous foundation, rooted in their commitment to providing good food, fostering a strong sense of family, and maintaining a diligent work ethic, all of which have earned them the trust of their valued patrons.
